MOON IN FOURTH

This indicates a time when we are in "home-body" mode and a time when we may withdraw to our homes to relax or to do some puttering around the house. We can, and should, use this time for self-examination. The fourth house is one of the houses associated with the subconscious/unconscious mind as well as our past – the home we grew up in. This could be an aid to reviewing our past, Aquarius, and to determine how much influence this still has on us today.

We may not wish to be alone right now, but a little bit of solitude at this time is often beneficial. We do not have to spend all of our time alone, however, as this is also a good time to interact with the family. You will probably want to feel more emotionally connected now.

Since the Moon is connected to habitual behavior and the fourth house is representative of our early home life, this is a good time for self-examination. If we discover problems this is a good time to correct them, so do attempt to set aside some time for yourself, Aquarius.

This is the Moon's natural house and the natural sign on this house is Cancer. This should remind us that even though we may want to be emotionally connected at this time, we should avoid the negative side of this which is clinging to those we love. People that feel suffocated often have a desire to flee.

The fourth house was traditionally linked to the mother, although some associate this house with the less dominant parent today. So this may indicate a time when we have closer contact with this parent. Although this is a neutral manifestation, it might indicate clearing up a problem from the past or merely a time when we feel a closer bond with this parent.

MOON IN FIFTH
February 1, 2012

With the Moon transiting the fifth house we are likely to see greater emotional intensity in our intimate relationships. This is fine as long as we remember to not become overly possessive. Romance may, however, be a rich and rewarding emotional experience for you, Aquarius. Just be sure to remember that they are your emotions and not your partner's that you are feeling. You may want to check to see if they feel the same way.

The fifth house is also considered the house of children and they may take on even greater significance now as the nurturing qualities of the Moon seek expression. The caution, Aquarius, is to not be overly-protective to the point of stifling growth.

Artistic/creative self-expression could be a source for emotional outlet at this time. The Moon has been observed to be prominent in the charts of writers. Maybe you want to consider starting that novel you have been thinking about? However, lunar transits are fast so you will need far more indications than this transit to finish the work. But any creative hobby could prove to be an emotionally gratifying outlet at this time.

MOON IN SIXTH

The Moon may not feel too comfortable here in the house of health and work and service to others. We may feel the need to smother our emotions in the work environment, but this should not take on the proportions of emotional repression. We all have emotions; we just need to learn to express them in an appropriate manner and this is certainly important in our work-day life.

Lunar transits are so rapid that you probably will not experience a health problem, Aquarius, but this should point out to all of us the connection between body and mind. Repressed emotions can lead to health problems if we continually swallow our emotions. Deal with the issues appropriately, Aquarius, and you minimize risks to your health over the long-haul.

At this time we may feel a closer bond with co-workers. If we do experience problems at work now, we should check our responses and see if there is any connection to our past that may be influencing us to respond inappropriately.

MOON IN SEVENTH
February 6, 2012

When the Moon transits the seventh house we will see relationships imbued with even more emotionalism than usual. This need not be negative, Aquarius, but often is due to our own insecurities and habitual unconscious reaction patterns which, during this time, may be used against us. If faced with relationship difficulties at this time, be certain that reaction patterns are not linked to the past and clouding the present situation.

Emotional intensity will usually mark this transit, Aquarius, for good or ill. Dealings with our loved ones may be on a much deeper level as long as we avoid possessiveness, but dealings with enemies will be emotionally charged as well.

Most of us have a desire for relationships with others, but we should all endeavor to find security within ourselves. This can take the pressure off our relationships as we then enter into them through desire rather than need. We will normally desire more closeness with our loved ones now, but this also gives us the opportunity to examine our motives concerning these relationships.

MOON IN EIGHTH
February 8, 2012

The eighth house is Pluto's natural house and one of the keywords for Pluto is intensity. This will intensify the emotional reactions of the Moon during this transit. Added to this we have some very emotionally charged issues represented in the eighth house – money and sex = power. Remember also, Aquarius, that this is one of the houses of the unconscious and responses here, as with the Moon, may be linked to our past.

This could manifest as emotionally gratifying unions with our intimate partners, but sometimes these issues can lead to difficulties. If problems should arise, Aquarius, we should attempt to look within ourselves for these answers instead of immediately placing the blame on others. The emotionally charged issues of sex and money can act as doorways or catalysts to self-examination of our expectations and needs. This could act as an aid to transformation – another keyword for Pluto. This transformation could help us to feel more control over our responses, Aquarius, and actually that is all we can control anyway.

MOON IN NINTH
February 10, 2012

The transit of the Moon through the ninth house may mark a period of restlessness for us. This may be more of a mental or spiritual restlessness rather than an urge for travel. A new area of study may come to our attention that offers emotional gratification, Aquarius, but this could also be a time when our religious or spiritual pursuits may offer the same sort of satisfaction.

MOON IN TENTH
February 12, 2012

The tenth house is related to our career and our public image. This may be a time when we are more emotionally in tune with those we come in contact with in our career. Keep in mind that emotions are on public display at this time as well, Aquarius, so any displays of emotion you may want to ensure are appropriate for the moment. This may be a time when we reveal more about ourselves through emotional reactions than we wish to.

The tenth house also represents the dominant parent and could indicate some interaction with this parent at this time. Since career is tied in here, we might also find ourselves questioning whether our choice of career was to please ourselves or to inadvertently gain the approval of a parent.

SUN IN FIRST

This is the "me" time of year, Aquarius. After the Sun passes over the Ascendant, our own personal astrological new year begins. This is similar to another birthday, and a time when we should focus on ourselves. What are our plans for the upcoming year? This is also a time when we should review our past year to better get our bearings, Aquarius.

You can easily make an impression on others, so make sure the impression you make is a good one. But do be sure that at this time of year your main focus should be on your personal concerns and, without being unduly harsh, do not let yourself be sidetracked. This might not be the best time to work on group projects, Aquarius.

MERCURY IN FIRST

Often with this transit we can more authentically communicate our desires and who we really are. We may tend to be quite focused on personal concerns, but can be very effective in our communications. Should you experience nervousness at this time, Aquarius, it may be an indication of too much input or a scattering of your energies and you may need to slow down a bit to get a better grip on a given situation and take some time to relax.

VENUS IN SECOND

This is one of Venus' natural houses and as such Venus' energy now may be intensified and act more readily here.

This may be advantageous on a financial level, Aquarius. Contract negotiations, investments and purchases of art objects could be beneficial now. The only warning with this transit concerns extravagance. We may be far too free with spending now and could deplete our reserves, giving us reason for regret later.

We are often able to draw others to us at this time, Aquarius, that may be financially beneficial to us. This may also indicate a time when we discover within ourselves some sort of artistic/creative talent, or appreciation for this gift in others.

VENUS IN THIRD
February 8, 2012

We will probably experience greater ease in our communications at this time, Aquarius, as Venus allows us to express ourselves in a pleasing manner. These communications may be with siblings, friends, neighbors or possibly customers as some astrologers attribute commerce to the third house.

Our everyday environment may seem very pleasant to us now, Aquarius. Also, the third house is one of the education houses so perhaps some artistic interest of study may catch our attention now.

MARS IN EIGHTH
Retrograde Until April 13, 2012

This may prove to be a rather explosive transit, at times, for some people. The reason for this is that this is Pluto’s natural house and Pluto is symbolic of transformation. This transformation might take place because of the proclivity of Mars to engender conflict if expressed in a negative manner. This intensity is also increased because Mars is the co-ruler of the sign Scorpio, and Scorpio is the natural sign of the eighth house.

These clashes with others may come into play where any of the eighth-house issues are concerned, Aquarius. Sex, for instance, is an extraordinarily powerful emotional experience and may raise issues buried in our unconscious at this time, as the eighth house is associated with the subconscious/unconscious mind. Examine any conflicts of this sort to be certain you are responding to the present case rather than some issue from the past, Aquarius. In this instance, your partner may be able to aid your transformation and lay the problem to rest.

Jointly-held resources could become a source of conflict, Aquarius, as could the foolish waste of your assets at this time. This could be a time to iron out any difficulties along these lines and to keep spending in check.

Taxes might become an issue, Aquarius, and this does not mean you will have a problem here. This could be a good time to check with advisors to find means to reduce your tax bill legally so that you can keep more of the money you earn.

MARS RETROGRADE TRANSITS

Where Mars retrograde transits are concerned, this may indicate a time when we may need to adjust our current course in life. Whether that course is related to relationships or business, we may need to reassess what we are doing or alter it; to be sure we are headed in the direction we wish to follow.

Another indication is that things from the past that still irk us, or things we did not deal with properly, may resurface now. This affords us an opportunity to reevaluate these things and take the appropriate steps to deal with these issues now. We may have to learn an appropriate, healthy expression of anger or possibly learn to be more assertive.

When Mars is retrograde, it is not usually considered a favorable time to begin new ventures. This is a time for Mars energy to be directed inward, so that we may assess where we are going and review our strategies for getting there. When we do otherwise now, we usually run into unforeseen obstacles that tend to thwart our progress.

JUPITER IN FOURTH

Jupiter's beneficence will now be felt in the domestic sphere, Aquarius. This is considered a good time to purchase a home or to remodel or expand an existing one. Real estate purchases of any kind are favored with this transit and this includes investments.

Family relations are favored with this transit, Aquarius, and this includes your own family as well as your parents, and particularly the parent represented by this house. This is a good time to cement these relations and to build a firm foundation, so we always have the underlying security of home and family from which to face any onslaught the world may throw at us.

This could be a good time to work from home or possibly start a home-based business that might prove to be quite profitable. For the most part, however, this is a time to solidify our personal lives and concentration on this will prove to benefit us now and in the future, Aquarius.

The fourth is also related to our past and if we should have any issues here that are a source of problems for us, we can deal with these issues more easily now than at almost any other time. This affords us an opportunity to clear these matters up with the least amount of effort and trouble.

People close to us are usually generous and supportive, as we are of them, Aquarius. By giving these people our priority we can now build true security for ourselves, which is usually what we are really seeking now.

SATURN IN NINTH
Retrograde February 7, 2012

The ninth house is one of the houses related to education. Saturn’s transit here, for most people, refers to education as understanding the ground rules of whatever field we are working in so that we may prepare ourselves to benefit from this understanding when Saturn moves into the tenth house. Saturn's transit of the tenth house is said to symbolize the pinnacle of our achievements, providing we have learned Saturn's lessons and have prepared ourselves accordingly. Of course, Aquarius, this will be dependent upon our age. Younger people may experience this as a time when they must discipline themselves to learn what they will need to know in order to take their place in the world later in life.

For those already working in the outer world, this may be a time to examine all the tools of the trade, so to speak, that we need to use in our climb to the top. We must use our talents to the utmost and solidify our operating procedures, but at the same time we must not allow ourselves to become rigid. We may still have more to learn and we should be open to this type of education now.

Other ninth house concerns could include long-distance journeys and with Saturn here this may mean for purposes of work, or for learning something we need to know. This is not usually considered a time that is favorable to travel merely for pleasure.

Religion and philosophy are also ninth house issues. This may be a time when we examine these issues more closely in regard to our lives. The same warning applies here as to our strategies about approaching our work. This means that we may solidify our beliefs, but once again we should refrain from becoming rigid in this regard. If we fail to leave ourselves open to other viewpoints we not only miss an opportunity to learn more, Aquarius, but we may also lay the groundwork for confrontation now.

The ninth house deals with the higher courts just as the seventh house symbolizes the lower courts. With this in mind, Saturn’s transit here, just as in the seventh house, may not bode well for legal cases now. If you should have to go to court, be thoroughly prepared. But it may be better to avoid this circumstance if at all possible.

SATURN RETROGRADE TRANSITS

This is a time to reexamine any structures, systems, organizations and policies inundating our lives. This may be a favorable time to revamp any of these for greater efficiency and productivity.

This is an opportune time to assess our own power and authority and to be honest with ourselves in this regard. We need to assess if we are holding ourselves back, or allowing others to do so, in some way. We need to learn how to fit in so that we may achieve our goals. We need to be objective about what we want and what others expect from us. Consequently, this may be a favorable time to reassess our relationships, both personal and business, and to determine which may need work and are salvageable, and those which we may have to let go.

URANUS IN THIRD

Any turmoil in our lives linked to this transit may come in our immediate environment; communications, contact with siblings, neighbors, close relatives, short-distance journeys, as well as commerce if we are involved in business.

Communications of all types will be enlivened with this transit, Aquarius, but be sure to pay attention to the details. We may wish to move so fast that we might miss something that could cause a problem later. This would also be a good time to be cautious where travel is concerned. This does not necessarily mean accidents but, just as Uranus’ transit of the first, if we are suppressing the need for change an accident could occur.

All interactions with our immediate environment and those within it will appear electrified and accelerated now. As the third is related to left-brain activity and early education, we may experience a change in our perspectives on life or possibly find a new field of interest to study. Subjects related to Uranus are electronics, technology, any of the sciences, and even astrology.

Some people may merely find that this transit brings a feeling of restlessness and boredom to the tedium of their normal daily routine. As with all Uranus transits, Aquarius, these feelings are attempting to convey the need for change in this area of life to keep things fresh and exciting. It is best to help these changes along by making allowances for our need for independence and growth.

NEPTUNE IN FIRST

The first house is representative of how others see us, Aquarius, and with this transit others may not see us too clearly. That is to say, we may not be too sure of ourselves at this time and, almost as if we were teenagers, may be going through a phase of changing and trying on new faces now. This tendency may cause some problems in relationships, which may be exacerbated by our own uncertainty now.

We should attempt to be quite honest with ourselves as to whom and what we truly are. If you find yourself lacking in this regard, Aquarius, try not to judge yourself too harshly as this is symptomatic of Neptune undermining our confidence in ourselves and will pass with this transit. This can be a rather long transit, however, depending on the exact length of your first house, but do not despair. This is fortunate in that it gives us time to take any changes taking place now in stride instead of them being too abrupt. If you experience real difficulties now, this may be a good time to seek out a counselor or advisor. Just be certain that you do not become too dependent on this person. They should be helpful but not become a permanent crutch.

If you should, as some people do, decide to help others now this can be helpful to your self-image and is a fortunate use for Neptune's energy. Keep the above advice in mind though and do not allow others to become dependent on you to carry their load for them. This is a good time to teach others to stand on their own two feet and make their own personal journey.

Some astrologers associate this time with a marked period of productivity where creativity is concerned, or at least a keen appreciation of artistic expression.

NEPTUNE IN SECOND
February 3, 2012

In all likelihood, Aquarius, this transit will influence our money, possessions, personal values and innate talents. With this in mind, we should now keep watch over our finances, but at the same time not become too concerned about them. Do not become preoccupied with accumulating vast amounts of wealth now as this could lead to taking financial risks, which might prove disastrous with this transit. Neptune has a tendency to dissolve things and this could indicate your assets. Give your assets due attention, but do not become obsessive about it. Also, it would be wise to be skeptical of dubious investments now as this transit is conducive to being swindled. To focus too closely on financial matters may actually invite trouble.

This transit is best used for examining our inner values and the more spiritual side of our lives. If we focus too much on the material aspects of life, our assets may be dissipated in order to bring our focus back to where it belongs now. There may be losses now, but we must attempt to see the big picture and for many of us this is clouded by the eternal grasping for more that most of us are afflicted by at one time or another. The real meaning of this transit, Aquarius, is to find what is truly important to us in life.

This house is also associated with our inner resources and innate talents. This may be a favorable time to capitalize on these talents in some way, or at least attempt to give them expression. Inadvertently, Aquarius, this could prove to be financially profitable for us.

PLUTO IN TWELFTH

This is a transit, as most twelfth-house transits are, that may prove to be quite troubling indeed, Aquarius. Pluto's transformation now will attempt to reach into our unconscious to help us unload any excess baggage we have been carrying with us that has been causing problems for us throughout the course of our lives. For most people this is not likely to be a pleasant experience, but it may be a necessary one. Now Pluto affords us the opportunity to offload the stumbling blocks we put in our path, either through repression or guilt.

Twelfth house issues may be things that we are so out of touch with we are not even aware of them. Here we also find feelings of guilt about deeds we have done and have been unable to deal with. The twelfth represents matters that are hidden and sometimes we do such a good job of hiding things we even hide them from ourselves. Now we can examine these issues and transform our lives by freeing ourselves from these controversies that may be creating havoc in our lives.

This is a house of the unconscious and, for most people, what surfaces now may be very uncomfortable to deal with. But by the same token, Pluto is opening a door for us to get at the heart of these matters so that we may resolve them. If you find this transit particularly distressing, Aquarius, and many people do, you may want to seek out professional advice. This would be a favorable time for psychotherapy in order to put the past, and your personal demons, to rest. If you are like most of us, you can afford to be rid of these things we all carry around and transform yourself. This, although troublesome, can be a very liberating experience.

Incidentally, Aquarius, this is also an extraordinarily good time to rid ourselves of bad habits, such as smoking, drinking, or substance abuse.
