MOON IN SECOND

At this time second house considerations may be tinged with emotion and we may feel much attached to our possessions. But more likely, our possessions and income level may be an attempt to fill some emotional void.

Of course, Aries, no one wants to feel financially destitute, but we should examine the underlying motivation behind spending and acquisition at this time. What do these acquisitions represent to us on an unconscious level? This is not usually a good time to go on an emotional spending spree, but could be good for finding out what it is we are really trying to buy with our spending.

MOON IN THIRD
February 1, 2012

When the Moon transits the third house we may expect our communications with others to take on emotional overtones. This may help us to communicate on a deeper feeling level with those close to us. This could be particularly useful in intimate relationships.

Siblings may come into play here, Aries, and if we experience problems we should be sure that these issues do not stem from sibling rivalry from our past. Clear the air, but do so gently if you do experience such difficulties. This does not mean there will be a problem, but you should be aware just in case.

Unconscious habit patterns of response could create a problem if we speak before we think, Aries. This most often shows up in relations with people we have contact with on a regular basis. Sometimes, in these instances, we react on "auto-pilot" and can inadvertently cause friction with those in our daily lives.

MOON IN FOURTH
February 4, 2012

This indicates a time when we are in "home-body" mode and a time when we may withdraw to our homes to relax or to do some puttering around the house. We can, and should, use this time for self-examination. The fourth house is one of the houses associated with the subconscious/unconscious mind as well as our past – the home we grew up in. This could be an aid to reviewing our past, Aries, and to determine how much influence this still has on us today.

We may not wish to be alone right now, but a little bit of solitude at this time is often beneficial. We do not have to spend all of our time alone, however, as this is also a good time to interact with the family. You will probably want to feel more emotionally connected now.

Since the Moon is connected to habitual behavior and the fourth house is representative of our early home life, this is a good time for self-examination. If we discover problems this is a good time to correct them, so do attempt to set aside some time for yourself, Aries.

This is the Moon's natural house and the natural sign on this house is Cancer. This should remind us that even though we may want to be emotionally connected at this time, we should avoid the negative side of this which is clinging to those we love. People that feel suffocated often have a desire to flee.

The fourth house was traditionally linked to the mother, although some associate this house with the less dominant parent today. So this may indicate a time when we have closer contact with this parent. Although this is a neutral manifestation, it might indicate clearing up a problem from the past or merely a time when we feel a closer bond with this parent.

MOON IN FIFTH
February 6, 2012

With the Moon transiting the fifth house we are likely to see greater emotional intensity in our intimate relationships. This is fine as long as we remember to not become overly possessive. Romance may, however, be a rich and rewarding emotional experience for you, Aries. Just be sure to remember that they are your emotions and not your partner's that you are feeling. You may want to check to see if they feel the same way.

The fifth house is also considered the house of children and they may take on even greater significance now as the nurturing qualities of the Moon seek expression. The caution, Aries, is to not be overly-protective to the point of stifling growth.

Artistic/creative self-expression could be a source for emotional outlet at this time. The Moon has been observed to be prominent in the charts of writers. Maybe you want to consider starting that novel you have been thinking about? However, lunar transits are fast so you will need far more indications than this transit to finish the work. But any creative hobby could prove to be an emotionally gratifying outlet at this time.

MOON IN SIXTH
February 8, 2012

The Moon may not feel too comfortable here in the house of health and work and service to others. We may feel the need to smother our emotions in the work environment, but this should not take on the proportions of emotional repression. We all have emotions; we just need to learn to express them in an appropriate manner and this is certainly important in our work-day life.

Lunar transits are so rapid that you probably will not experience a health problem, Aries, but this should point out to all of us the connection between body and mind. Repressed emotions can lead to health problems if we continually swallow our emotions. Deal with the issues appropriately, Aries, and you minimize risks to your health over the long-haul.

At this time we may feel a closer bond with co-workers. If we do experience problems at work now, we should check our responses and see if there is any connection to our past that may be influencing us to respond inappropriately.

MOON IN SEVENTH
February 10, 2012

When the Moon transits the seventh house we will see relationships imbued with even more emotionalism than usual. This need not be negative, Aries, but often is due to our own insecurities and habitual unconscious reaction patterns which, during this time, may be used against us. If faced with relationship difficulties at this time, be certain that reaction patterns are not linked to the past and clouding the present situation.

Emotional intensity will usually mark this transit, Aries, for good or ill. Dealings with our loved ones may be on a much deeper level as long as we avoid possessiveness, but dealings with enemies will be emotionally charged as well.

Most of us have a desire for relationships with others, but we should all endeavor to find security within ourselves. This can take the pressure off our relationships as we then enter into them through desire rather than need. We will normally desire more closeness with our loved ones now, but this also gives us the opportunity to examine our motives concerning these relationships.

MOON IN EIGHTH
February 12, 2012

The eighth house is Pluto's natural house and one of the keywords for Pluto is intensity. This will intensify the emotional reactions of the Moon during this transit. Added to this we have some very emotionally charged issues represented in the eighth house – money and sex = power. Remember also, Aries, that this is one of the houses of the unconscious and responses here, as with the Moon, may be linked to our past.

This could manifest as emotionally gratifying unions with our intimate partners, but sometimes these issues can lead to difficulties. If problems should arise, Aries, we should attempt to look within ourselves for these answers instead of immediately placing the blame on others. The emotionally charged issues of sex and money can act as doorways or catalysts to self-examination of our expectations and needs. This could act as an aid to transformation – another keyword for Pluto. This transformation could help us to feel more control over our responses, Aries, and actually that is all we can control anyway.

SUN IN ELEVENTH

Eleventh-house concerns include professional associations, organizations, friends as well as hopes and dreams and goals and objectives. At this time of year, socializing may take priority in our lives. We may advance through our association with professional organizations or through networking with our acquaintances.

Even if we do not belong to any formalized organizations, we can discuss our dreams and aspirations with our friends and like-minded people to get a firmer grasp on how to make our dreams come true and achieve our goals.

This is another time, Aries, when we should be out and about or otherwise communicating with others, for through group efforts we can further our own progress.

MERCURY IN ELEVENTH

When Mercury transits the eleventh house we may experience greater communications within professional organizations and also with our friends.

This would be a favorable time to review our goals and objectives in life, Aries, and make plans as to how we may go about making these dreams a reality. Talking these things over with our friends or colleagues may be very helpful now. Therefore, it is beneficial that most of us tend to feel more sociable at this time. This gives us the opportunity to get feedback from others about the direction we are planning to travel in and may bring new possibilities and strategies into our awareness that may ultimately benefit us.

VENUS IN TWELFTH

This is one of the easier transits of the twelfth house. Transits of the twelfth house we usually experience with a degree of trepidation, as hiding here are things that tend to trip us up in our journey through life. This is not the natural case with Venus transiting here.

We may be called upon to help someone close to us now. If you should find this to be the case, Aries, you should approach this willingly. We are usually in a giving mood now so this should not be a problem, but do keep in mind you are offering help; it is not your responsibility to solve the entire world's problems. Do what you can in the spirit of giving, but remember that this is the natural house of Pisces. You may not be a savior, Aries, but you owe it to yourself not to become a martyr either.

Venus is connected to relationships and this could mean tending to problems in relationships now, Aries. Also, any psychological baggage that might surface now may be a reflection of something going on in a relationship we are currently involved in. Deal with these issues, should they arise, in a gracious manner. There is a good chance your partner may be just as helpful to you in this regard.

This is a relatively easy twelfth house transit, Aries, and we may wish to connect with humanity and be more giving now. With this transit, this could indicate a time when we may consider volunteer work or in some way helping others. Just be sure to only give what you comfortably can. There is no need to give until it hurts. To do so may actually backfire later. Artistic/creative self-expression may also be a good outlet to relieve some of the stress from difficulties we may be dealing with now.

VENUS IN FIRST
February 8, 2012

This is a good time to make a favorable impression on others and to draw supporters to your side. You may be quite diplomatic now, Aries, and may be able to ease tensions between others. Although we may not feel motivated to actively pursue our own interests now, this may be a good time to rally support for future endeavors.

One word of caution you should be aware of with this transit, Aries, is a tendency to yield to others too readily. We are in a pleasant, peaceful sort of mood now and prefer to avoid conflict. We should, however, be aware that we might undermine our own future position by yielding too much at this time.

MARS IN SIXTH
Retrograde Until April 13, 2012

This transit affords us an opportunity to put a good deal of energy into our work. We can be very productive at this time and accomplish much if we keep the impatience and irritability of Mars in check. Usually, this is a good time to work alone if we can manage it. This will give us a chance to get the credit for our work and avoid the possibility of a clash with co-workers. Relations with those we work with, or for, may not be at their best now so if you can work on a project by yourself it may be wise to do so, Aries. This is also a time to be careful that impatience and irritability do not lead to accidents on the job.

Where health is concerned, Aries, it is prudent to vent any anger or frustration we may be feeling in a positive way. With Mars this usually entails some sort of physical activity or exercise. With this transit pent-up emotions could lead to a health problem if we do not vent these tensions in a positive manner.

MARS RETROGRADE TRANSITS

Where Mars retrograde transits are concerned, this may indicate a time when we may need to adjust our current course in life. Whether that course is related to relationships or business, we may need to reassess what we are doing or alter it; to be sure we are headed in the direction we wish to follow.

Another indication is that things from the past that still irk us, or things we did not deal with properly, may resurface now. This affords us an opportunity to reevaluate these things and take the appropriate steps to deal with these issues now. We may have to learn an appropriate, healthy expression of anger or possibly learn to be more assertive.

When Mars is retrograde, it is not usually considered a favorable time to begin new ventures. This is a time for Mars energy to be directed inward, so that we may assess where we are going and review our strategies for getting there. When we do otherwise now, we usually run into unforeseen obstacles that tend to thwart our progress.

JUPITER IN SECOND

Jupiter's influence now will be felt along the lines of money, personal possessions and personal values. There is an old saying, Aries – "Be careful what you wish for; you just might get it!" Astrologically this is never more certain than with a Jupiter transit.

We can increase our income now, Aries, but we should be cautious about our motives in this regard. We all would like a degree of financial security but, if we are not careful in our pursuit of this goal, quite often we may sacrifice the very thing we wanted the financial security for – our freedom. I personally believe that possessions have an uncanny knack for possessing the very people that own them. This is sort of like being a slave, Aries, although the chains you are shackled in may be made of gold, they are chains nonetheless! This is a good time to increase your income but do plan carefully.

This could also be a time to make wise investments. But again, keep in mind the downside of Jupiter’s energy and do not overextend yourself, which could lead to problems later on if things should get tight financially. Remember, this transit will not last forever.

The one warning with Jupiter here, as with Venus, is to be on your guard about lavish spending, Aries. This could be cause for regret later when we realize our expenditures were rather foolish.

SATURN IN SEVENTH
Retrograde February 7, 2012

With this transit of Saturn, Aries, the most obvious point of friction will be seen in the area of relationships. This is one of the transits of Saturn often associated with the break-up of relationships. This is not an inevitable outcome for this transit, however. It could indicate that, although work may be needed, we do have the opportunity to strengthen relationships if we choose to do the required work.

This transit seems to indicate that in all our relationships, both personal and business, we need to clarify our expectations of others and just what our responsibilities to them entail. We should not only be looking out for what we receive from others, but also doing our best to live up to our obligations to others as well. Both parties should be clear about what each expects from the other, and coming to a common ground on these issues may not be easy now.

Other seventh-house issues may surface as well. Dealings in court may not turn out in your favor now, Aries, so it would be best to avoid any legal wrangling at this time. Public relations work done now may not leave the desired impression we hoped for. We may leave the impression of being far too removed from the public and come across as being cold and austere; possibly more concerned with the bottom line than pleasing our customers. Business partnerships may be fraught with the same pitfalls listed above. The "open enemies" related to the seventh house could also prove troublesome now, so be prepared for this eventuality.

SATURN RETROGRADE TRANSITS

This is a time to reexamine any structures, systems, organizations and policies inundating our lives. This may be a favorable time to revamp any of these for greater efficiency and productivity.

This is an opportune time to assess our own power and authority and to be honest with ourselves in this regard. We need to assess if we are holding ourselves back, or allowing others to do so, in some way. We need to learn how to fit in so that we may achieve our goals. We need to be objective about what we want and what others expect from us. Consequently, this may be a favorable time to reassess our relationships, both personal and business, and to determine which may need work and are salvageable, and those which we may have to let go.

URANUS IN FIRST

The first is associated with our personal interests, and with this transit we tend to feel an urge for change. We may experience this as a pervasive restlessness and, particularly if we feel as though we have been held back by others or ourselves, we are inclined to become rebellious. This is as it should be if you feel the need for change, but it fosters far less resistance if we do this in an appropriate manner.

We, as well as others, may not feel completely comfortable with these changes. It may seem both to ourselves and to others as if we are taking on a new persona. This will make us feel great tension if we feel we have been held back far too long and will no longer tolerate it, or if we have held ourselves back in order to conform to the wishes of others. The more we resist these changes, Aries, the more tension we are likely to feel and the more disruptive our lives may become until we tune into what needs change. In some cases this could indicate the end of relationships, both business and personal, if these do not allow us the personal freedom to be ourselves we feel we need now. The more we feel tied down by life’s circumstances and our own self-restrictions, the more radical our rebellion is likely to be.

Uranus is considered the higher-octave of Mercury and Mercury is linked to our perceptions. This transit can broaden our perspective and open our lives to change and broader horizons if we allow it to do so. This transit is disruptive only to the extent that we are fearful of the changes called for now. Upsetting experiences are a clue that change is fighting to get out. This could also be a time to be mindful of accidents, Aries, particularly if you are resistant to the changes that need to take place now.

NEPTUNE IN ELEVENTH

Because the eleventh house is related to our hopes, wishes, goals and objectives and Neptune is associated with idealism, this is a time when our ideals may come to the forefront in our lives. Just remember, Aries, that Neptune is also associated with self-deception and keep your dreams grounded in reality.

Be equally careful of new friends that come into your life now or any association with organizations. We may delude ourselves about the reality surrounding these issues now, Aries, so we must be careful with the fog surrounding Neptune’s transits. This does not mean these people will deceive us, but we may not see the details clearly and possibly deceive ourselves. Dreams must be grounded in reality if we wish to make them real and we should be aware of a tendency now to see others as we wish to, rather than what they really are.

This may be a favorable time to align yourself with organizations that attempt to benefit the underprivileged or that do some sort of volunteer work for the masses. Neptune is also associated with creativity, Aries, so working with others along these lines or associating with organizations that promote artistic/creative expression may be beneficial now as well.

If a stumbling block occurs now it is likely due to deception. Either others are taking advantage of you or you have deluded yourself into believing something, or someone, is other than they actually are. Be careful of self-deception now, Aries.

NEPTUNE IN TWELFTH
February 3, 2012

It is said that the twelfth house represents our transit through the chart and indicates an area where we wish to rejoin with the collective of everything in creation. Sigmund Freud was once said to liken this to a desire to return to the womb-state when we were one with all of creation. Neptune's transit of the twelfth house may stir similar feelings within us and we may begin to question the ultimate meaning of our existence on a personal level.

Some people may attempt to find this centering in the area of religion or other personal spiritual philosophy. But, Aries, ultimately the way we find this is a matter of individual choice and preference. The goal, however, for most people, is the same – how are we ultimately a part of everything, and what is it we need in our lives and what path do we have to follow to achieve this for ourselves? This is an attempt to find a sense of spiritual peace for ourselves and to discover the path we feel we must follow in order to find it.

This could be an emotionally trying time for some individuals, Aries, as are many planetary transits of the twelfth house. Keep in mind though that Neptune also opens a door for us to gain greater insight to the subconscious/unconscious mind. This can help us to deal with any turmoil that might arise now. Look closely at conditions surrounding the twelfth house for clues as to how to better deal with any issues that may arise now. Signs on the twelfth house, and any planets posited here, might indicate issues we have greater access to and can deal with in a healthier manner now.

PLUTO IN TENTH

At this time you are inclined to feel driven to achieve something significant in your life, Aries. If the path you have taken in life thus far has prepared you properly, you may achieve a position of power now. If this should be the case, refrain from abusing your authority. With a Pluto transit this is likely to result in ruthless opposition to your aims. Pluto can tend to make us a bit power mad, and this is to be avoided if we do not wish to presage our own downfall.

We may experience power struggles with others now in the professional arena. Stand your ground but do not be tempted to use underhanded or ruthless tactics now, Aries. Pluto has a nasty way of causing reversal of fortunes if we lower ourselves to these types of standards. Remember the children’s taunt – "I’m rubber and you’re glue; everything bounces off me and sticks to you!" Astrologically, this can describe Pluto’s transits. Play fair and do not cut corners. Take the moral high ground and your detractors may end up defeating themselves with their own tactics.

For some people, this transit may be more worrisome. Some people may find their professional world crumbling now. If this should be your case, Aries, make every attempt to be objective about the situation. You may want to take your time and examine your direction in life. Transits of Pluto last for years, so you will have ample time to discover a new path in life for yourself. For some individuals, this transit may be similar to Pluto’s transit of the sixth house. We may lose our jobs, but if we have not achieved a position of authority it will more likely symbolize a change in our life’s direction.

This is also a parent house so our relationship with our parents may undergo dramatic transformation now. This could be either parent, but the parent symbolized by the tenth house is the usual candidate in this regard.
