MOON IN SEVENTH

When the Moon transits the seventh house we will see relationships imbued with even more emotionalism than usual. This need not be negative, Scorpio, but often is due to our own insecurities and habitual unconscious reaction patterns which, during this time, may be used against us. If faced with relationship difficulties at this time, be certain that reaction patterns are not linked to the past and clouding the present situation.

Emotional intensity will usually mark this transit, Scorpio, for good or ill. Dealings with our loved ones may be on a much deeper level as long as we avoid possessiveness, but dealings with enemies will be emotionally charged as well.

Most of us have a desire for relationships with others, but we should all endeavor to find security within ourselves. This can take the pressure off our relationships as we then enter into them through desire rather than need. We will normally desire more closeness with our loved ones now, but this also gives us the opportunity to examine our motives concerning these relationships.

MOON IN EIGHTH
February 1, 2012

The eighth house is Pluto's natural house and one of the keywords for Pluto is intensity. This will intensify the emotional reactions of the Moon during this transit. Added to this we have some very emotionally charged issues represented in the eighth house – money and sex = power. Remember also, Scorpio, that this is one of the houses of the unconscious and responses here, as with the Moon, may be linked to our past.

This could manifest as emotionally gratifying unions with our intimate partners, but sometimes these issues can lead to difficulties. If problems should arise, Scorpio, we should attempt to look within ourselves for these answers instead of immediately placing the blame on others. The emotionally charged issues of sex and money can act as doorways or catalysts to self-examination of our expectations and needs. This could act as an aid to transformation – another keyword for Pluto. This transformation could help us to feel more control over our responses, Scorpio, and actually that is all we can control anyway.

MOON IN NINTH
February 4, 2012

The transit of the Moon through the ninth house may mark a period of restlessness for us. This may be more of a mental or spiritual restlessness rather than an urge for travel. A new area of study may come to our attention that offers emotional gratification, Scorpio, but this could also be a time when our religious or spiritual pursuits may offer the same sort of satisfaction.

MOON IN TENTH
February 6, 2012

The tenth house is related to our career and our public image. This may be a time when we are more emotionally in tune with those we come in contact with in our career. Keep in mind that emotions are on public display at this time as well, Scorpio, so any displays of emotion you may want to ensure are appropriate for the moment. This may be a time when we reveal more about ourselves through emotional reactions than we wish to.

The tenth house also represents the dominant parent and could indicate some interaction with this parent at this time. Since career is tied in here, we might also find ourselves questioning whether our choice of career was to please ourselves or to inadvertently gain the approval of a parent.

MOON IN ELEVENTH
February 8, 2012

The eleventh house contains friends, professional organizations, and our hopes, wishes and goals in life. With the Moon transiting the eleventh house we may find our emotions coming into play in any of these areas. As always, Scorpio, watch for inappropriate emotional responses and, as with all transits of the Moon, this could be an indication of females or at least one woman playing a larger role in this area now.

This could be a time of connecting with friends on a deeper level, Scorpio, and further strengthening the bonds between us. It could also indicate a time when we are apt to examine our goals, dreams and objectives to find how to better make these dreams a reality, or to determine if they are unrealistic after all.

In any of these areas, Scorpio, as with all lunar transits, we should watch for emotional responses that stem from our past and may have little to do with the present situation. This will almost guarantee an inappropriate response to the present moment. If this should be the case, do not despair, Scorpio. As with all transits of the Moon, this can give us a window into the past so that we can adjust our behavior and responses to the present moment and free ourselves from negative response patterns.

MOON IN TWELFTH
February 10, 2012

When the Moon transits the twelfth house we may feel a bit uneasy and the reason for this can actually be quite beneficial if we take advantage of it. The twelfth is one of the houses that symbolizes the subconscious/unconscious mind as well as where we find characteristics about ourselves that we tend to repress. Along with the Moon representing the past, this affords us a great opportunity.

This transit can be used for self-examination of all the issues we tend to hide from others as well as ourselves. If we look at these characteristics we can find ways to enable expression of these traits to our benefit and add more to our lives. We probably will not feel very sociable at this time, but that can help us withdraw a bit for the self-examination that can be so beneficial now. Anything we have lurking in our subconscious or try to repress has a tendency to trip us up. With this transit, Scorpio, we may find what these stumbling blocks are and find more appropriate ways to deal with them.

Relationships with women may be a bit touchy now, Scorpio, but do not overlook the possibility of a female helping us, in the role of a confidante, to resolve some of these issues we come across here.

MOON IN FIRST
February 12, 2012

Whereas the Sun's transit of the first house makes for a healthy self-centeredness and assessment of our own personal goals, the Moon's transit of the first house acts on an emotional level. The Moon's transit of the first house stimulates us to be emotionally connected to friends and loved ones but, Scorpio, we must be aware of our underlying motives. We can be very sympathetic to the needs of others, but can also be very demanding in an emotional sense. Insecurities may come into play here and make us feel a bit needy or even a bit panicky. We all like having a support system, but we must learn that ultimately our security lies within ourselves.

Be supportive and seek support from others if you feel you need it at this time, Scorpio, just be sure to balance the scales. Others want the same support when they are in need, too.

SUN IN FOURTH

The fourth house represents the home we grew up in; the home we wish to make for ourselves; the past, and the parent in the background of our childhood. When the Sun is transiting the fourth house, we will probably be focused on domestic concerns. Issues around the home, such as remodeling or possibly the consideration of purchasing a house, may be on our minds now.

Our focus now will tend to be more home and family oriented as opposed to dealing with the outer world, Scorpio, as now the Sun is opposite the tenth house of the public. We may have more close contact with the parents, particularly the one represented by this house, or perhaps issues from our past will resurface to be dealt with. This is a time, as in the Sun's transit of the first house, when we are advised to look inward.

MERCURY IN FOURTH

The fourth house concerns our domestic scene, the home we grew up in, our past, the home we wish to make for ourselves as adults, and the less dominant parent in our lives. Mercury transits of the fourth house will focus our attention on the domestic scene, so we may experience a desire to withdraw from the outer world to examine this area of our lives. This need not be negative, Scorpio, it is just that presently we tend to be focused on more personal concerns, especially those concerning our family and the past.

If you should experience a problem, Scorpio, it may be prudent to see if this has a connection to your past in some way. If so, this could be the key to resolving any issues that may surface now.

Contact or communication with the parent symbolized by this house may also be part of our focus now, Scorpio. This may indicate a degree of ease in our communications with this parent during this transit.

VENUS IN FIFTH

The fifth-house interests include romance, children, artistic/creative self-expression, financial speculation and gambling. This is the area of the chart where we like to play.

When Venus transits here, Scorpio, we may be a bit more interested than usual in having a good time. We may have an interest in expressing ourselves creatively, at least at the level of a hobby. As usual though, Venus may not afford the drive to do anything seriously long-term if we do not have the drive, as Venus in the fifth house indicates our primary interest is to enjoy ourselves.

This is also a time when we may enjoy our children more than usual. We should get along with children quite well now and feel more loving toward them.

Where creativity is concerned, Scorpio, if we are not creatively inclined ourselves this could indicate a time when we are more capable of appreciating the creativity of others, usually in the form of music or art.

Financial speculation could bring monetary gain now as could a little gambling but, as with all Venus transits, it would be wise to be careful about expenditures along these lines as you could always lose.

Romance is normally given a boost with this transit, Scorpio, and quite often we are more romantically and socially inclined than usual. If we are already involved, this could indicate a time when we are more romantic with our partner.

VENUS IN SIXTH
February 8, 2012

Venus likes to play, but this is the house of work and service to others as well as the house of health, so this transit is not likely to find us feeling as playful as usual, Scorpio.

Our health is usually good now but, as always with Venus, we are advised to watch a tendency toward over-indulgence. This may be a time when we become more aware of diet and exercise concerns in order to make ourselves more attractive to potential romantic partners.

Relations with employers, employees and co-workers may be good at this time and this is a favorable time for planning and communications along these lines. We may also put ourselves in a better position for a raise or to increase profits now.

The point with this transit, Scorpio, is that now our concerns are directed more toward the mundane practical considerations of daily life. This may be the least flamboyant of the house transits of Venus.

MARS IN ELEVENTH
Retrograde Until April 13, 2012

The eleventh house represents groups, professional organizations, friends, and the hopes, wishes, goals and objectives we have. This is the key for productive use of the energy of Mars at this time.

This is not a good time to go it alone, Scorpio, for we will, in all likelihood, achieve far more by working in harmony with others. This is not to say that we should abandon our own personal objectives, but that we should align these goals with the purpose of others. This can get us any aid we might need or a different perspective on how to better pursue our own interests. So by being a team player, Scorpio, we can more easily satisfy the egocentric drive of Mars to achieve our own ends. And keep in mind that achieving our own ends is what Mars is all about. With this transit we would be better off going about it in a more roundabout way. Even socializing with our friends now may hold some hidden benefits.

If we are feeling stress now, a good way to release stress associated with Mars is to be physically active. Exercise or sports would prove to be beneficial now, Scorpio, and particularly team sports where the group works toward a common goal.

MARS RETROGRADE TRANSITS

Where Mars retrograde transits are concerned, this may indicate a time when we may need to adjust our current course in life. Whether that course is related to relationships or business, we may need to reassess what we are doing or alter it; to be sure we are headed in the direction we wish to follow.

Another indication is that things from the past that still irk us, or things we did not deal with properly, may resurface now. This affords us an opportunity to reevaluate these things and take the appropriate steps to deal with these issues now. We may have to learn an appropriate, healthy expression of anger or possibly learn to be more assertive.

When Mars is retrograde, it is not usually considered a favorable time to begin new ventures. This is a time for Mars energy to be directed inward, so that we may assess where we are going and review our strategies for getting there. When we do otherwise now, we usually run into unforeseen obstacles that tend to thwart our progress.

JUPITER IN SEVENTH

This transit is beneficial to relationships of all types, including marriage, and it is through these relationships that we learn with this transit. If we should become involved in a new relationship now, it might be with a foreigner, as Jupiter rules the ninth house of foreigners. This could, however, indicate business as well as marriage.

This is a teamwork transit, Scorpio, which is to say at this time we are better off working in harmony with others for a common purpose. The generous spirit of Jupiter aids this through our willingness to help one another.

All our relationships will tend to run smoothly at this time. We will tend to favorably impress others and our own spirit of fairness will likely attract the same from those we deal with. In business, Scorpio, this could be financially profitable, but do not overlook details in contracts. Sometimes with Jupiter we do not want to be bothered with details and this could prove problematic now.

Where intimate relationships are concerned, if we are already involved, this is often an indication of greater harmony between our mate and ourselves. If we should meet someone new now this could indicate a foreigner, but just as often this could prove to be someone that broadens our horizons by changing our viewpoint in some way. Or these people could do this by affording us opportunities in relationships or business.

This could be a good time for public relations campaigns, Scorpio, or for any dealings in court. Also, the open-enemies represented by this house may be more amenable to peace offerings now if we should wish to smooth over difficulties with these people at this time. They tend to realize these offerings come from a spirit of generosity and are more inclined to accept such diplomacy now.

SATURN IN TWELFTH
Retrograde February 7, 2012

Twelfth-house transits are rarely pleasant and this transit may find us feeling melancholy indeed. Saturn is geared toward achievement, Scorpio, so this may be particularly the case if we fell short of our goals in some way. Do not beat up on yourself should you find yourself in a similar situation. We must attempt now to dispassionately observe what we did, where we made mistakes, and where we failed to prepare fully and how this may have contributed to missing our target goal.

Twelfth-house transits may symbolize a desire to withdraw as well as this being a by-product of most Saturn transits, so now we may really wish for some solitude. If this is the case, Scorpio, use this time alone for reflection and not for brooding. Remember, Saturn wants us to put forth effort. This requires self-examination so that when Saturn crosses the Ascendant we can begin to prepare ourselves again for the long climb back to the top at the tenth house. This is also a time for planning and preparing ourselves for the next attempt, which will come when Saturn crosses the Ascendant. Now our work involves examining what, if anything, went wrong.

This is also another time to examine our past and what lies hidden here in the twelfth house in our subconscious/unconscious minds. What we find may have contributed to any shortfalls we may have experienced. But we may also find assets we failed to utilize before that may be a great help to us in our next attempt at finding achievement and the security that goes with it.

SATURN RETROGRADE TRANSITS

This is a time to reexamine any structures, systems, organizations and policies inundating our lives. This may be a favorable time to revamp any of these for greater efficiency and productivity.

This is an opportune time to assess our own power and authority and to be honest with ourselves in this regard. We need to assess if we are holding ourselves back, or allowing others to do so, in some way. We need to learn how to fit in so that we may achieve our goals. We need to be objective about what we want and what others expect from us. Consequently, this may be a favorable time to reassess our relationships, both personal and business, and to determine which may need work and are salvageable, and those which we may have to let go.

URANUS IN SIXTH

This transit may have you feeling rebellious in your job situation or is otherwise disruptive where your work is concerned. Responsibilities and obligations may become onerous at this time, Scorpio, making you feel oppressed and in need of a change. This may indicate a time to change jobs, especially if your current employment should feel dull, pointless, or at a dead end, although changing jobs may not be the only solution available to you now.

You may find that new procedures are being implemented where you work and, while you may find this initially upsetting, it could ultimately streamline your work and make it easier. This might perhaps entail the use of electronics or computers and, once you become accustomed to these new tools, you may find your efficiency improved.

The sixth house is also the house of health, and with this transit it is advisable to deal with whatever needs to be changed in your life in a forthright manner. This transit can be linked to health problems, usually brought on by bottled-up stress and tension, attributable to our everyday work life and environment. If you feel that things need to be changed in some way, Scorpio, or have gotten out of your control, it is best to deal with this on a conscious level in order to prevent this tension from surfacing as a physical ailment.

NEPTUNE IN FOURTH

During this time, Scorpio, we may experience a sense of insecurity, and this is probably attributable to Neptune’s influence on our unconscious mind. We may not be clear exactly about how we are changing on this inner level, which can add to the confusion. Be patient with yourself in this regard and if these issues, which may stem from your past, become too troubling, do not be afraid to seek out some sort of counseling to help clear up any confusion that may exist. This will not only help you to deal with any insecurity now in dealing with your past, but also help to keep you grounded in reality.

There may be troubling events in the domestic sphere, Scorpio, that can be difficult to clarify or to get a handle on now. This is typical of the illusory qualities attributable to Neptune. Be as clear as possible with your housemates, but be aware that Neptune can symbolize deception, so keep in mind that others may be misleading you.

This can be a favorable time for home renovations and for attempting to build or remodel an existing home to more accurately reflect our ideas of what the ideal home should be. Keep yourself grounded here, Scorpio, for while attempting to make our homes more of a reflection of what we want, Neptune's ideals may be just too far removed from reality for them to be attainable, thus leaving us disappointed.

Under extreme circumstances, this transit is said to have a negative influence on the health of a parent. Of course, if this is the case, it would most likely be the parent symbolized by this house. This is, however, a rare occurrence.

NEPTUNE IN FIFTH
February 3, 2012

With this transit it is particularly important in all of our relationships to meet people on an eye-to-eye level, Scorpio. That is to say, do not idealize a lover by putting them on a pedestal and be equally careful about anyone attempting to do this to you. Some people, with this transit, may actually be looking for a savior in a lover, or have this role thrust upon them by others. Obviously this, in all likelihood, will usually lead to nowhere but disappointment.

This can be a time when we may truly find our soul-mate, Scorpio, but only if we keep ourselves grounded in reality. After all, we are all only human and to expect to be whisked away to Nirvana by a lover usually puts stress on a relationship that may eventually destroy our possibility of heaven-on-earth. See your lover as they are and be clear about who you are in return. Things can work out just fine if we do not get carried away with our idealizations.

This is considered a rather risky time for financial speculation, investments or gambling. Now is a good time to keep in mind the warning – do not risk more than you can afford to lose.

Children may be a source of problems now. There may be difficulty in communicating with them or their health might become a concern. Do not idealize them either or you could be jolted from your lofty heights to find your angel is just as much of a demon as most of us can be.

This is often very beneficial for creativity of any kind, Scorpio. We may see things in this regard in ways we have never done so before.

PLUTO IN THIRD

Communications are probably on a far deeper level than usual now, Scorpio. This is because of Pluto's penchant for digging as well as a disdain for the superficial. These communications may prove to be far more significant than are immediately discernible. This is because the third house is associated with the mind and our everyday responses to our immediate environment. These responses will come under scrutiny now and some of them may need to be changed. Often we respond in a certain manner simply by habit. These responses may be appropriate, but we should become aware of them nonetheless.

Our overall psychology may be undergoing a transformation of sorts and this is likely to be of interest to us now. We are given an opportunity to examine how we respond to the world and, if we are smart, we also learn to listen and examine more closely how the world responds to us. We can take greater conscious control over these issues now if we apply ourselves.

Power struggles now may involve third-house persons such as neighbors, siblings or other close relatives. This is also considered by some to be the house of commerce so we may experience clashes here as well. Pluto is associated with the power principle and, as usual, we should be aware that we only have control over ourselves. To exercise power over others, particularly if we do so ruthlessly, is usually only inviting disaster. Keep your dealings fair and aboveboard, Scorpio, in order to avoid creating problems for yourself later.
