MOON IN FIRST

Whereas the Sun's transit of the first house makes for a healthy self-centeredness and assessment of our own personal goals, the Moon's transit of the first house acts on an emotional level. The Moon's transit of the first house stimulates us to be emotionally connected to friends and loved ones but, Taurus, we must be aware of our underlying motives. We can be very sympathetic to the needs of others, but can also be very demanding in an emotional sense. Insecurities may come into play here and make us feel a bit needy or even a bit panicky. We all like having a support system, but we must learn that ultimately our security lies within ourselves.

Be supportive and seek support from others if you feel you need it at this time, Taurus, just be sure to balance the scales. Others want the same support when they are in need, too.

MOON IN SECOND
February 1, 2012

At this time second house considerations may be tinged with emotion and we may feel much attached to our possessions. But more likely, our possessions and income level may be an attempt to fill some emotional void.

Of course, Taurus, no one wants to feel financially destitute, but we should examine the underlying motivation behind spending and acquisition at this time. What do these acquisitions represent to us on an unconscious level? This is not usually a good time to go on an emotional spending spree, but could be good for finding out what it is we are really trying to buy with our spending.

MOON IN THIRD
February 4, 2012

When the Moon transits the third house we may expect our communications with others to take on emotional overtones. This may help us to communicate on a deeper feeling level with those close to us. This could be particularly useful in intimate relationships.

Siblings may come into play here, Taurus, and if we experience problems we should be sure that these issues do not stem from sibling rivalry from our past. Clear the air, but do so gently if you do experience such difficulties. This does not mean there will be a problem, but you should be aware just in case.

Unconscious habit patterns of response could create a problem if we speak before we think, Taurus. This most often shows up in relations with people we have contact with on a regular basis. Sometimes, in these instances, we react on "auto-pilot" and can inadvertently cause friction with those in our daily lives.

MOON IN FOURTH
February 6, 2012

This indicates a time when we are in "home-body" mode and a time when we may withdraw to our homes to relax or to do some puttering around the house. We can, and should, use this time for self-examination. The fourth house is one of the houses associated with the subconscious/unconscious mind as well as our past – the home we grew up in. This could be an aid to reviewing our past, Taurus, and to determine how much influence this still has on us today.

We may not wish to be alone right now, but a little bit of solitude at this time is often beneficial. We do not have to spend all of our time alone, however, as this is also a good time to interact with the family. You will probably want to feel more emotionally connected now.

Since the Moon is connected to habitual behavior and the fourth house is representative of our early home life, this is a good time for self-examination. If we discover problems this is a good time to correct them, so do attempt to set aside some time for yourself, Taurus.

This is the Moon's natural house and the natural sign on this house is Cancer. This should remind us that even though we may want to be emotionally connected at this time, we should avoid the negative side of this which is clinging to those we love. People that feel suffocated often have a desire to flee.

The fourth house was traditionally linked to the mother, although some associate this house with the less dominant parent today. So this may indicate a time when we have closer contact with this parent. Although this is a neutral manifestation, it might indicate clearing up a problem from the past or merely a time when we feel a closer bond with this parent.

MOON IN FIFTH
February 8, 2012

With the Moon transiting the fifth house we are likely to see greater emotional intensity in our intimate relationships. This is fine as long as we remember to not become overly possessive. Romance may, however, be a rich and rewarding emotional experience for you, Taurus. Just be sure to remember that they are your emotions and not your partner's that you are feeling. You may want to check to see if they feel the same way.

The fifth house is also considered the house of children and they may take on even greater significance now as the nurturing qualities of the Moon seek expression. The caution, Taurus, is to not be overly-protective to the point of stifling growth.

Artistic/creative self-expression could be a source for emotional outlet at this time. The Moon has been observed to be prominent in the charts of writers. Maybe you want to consider starting that novel you have been thinking about? However, lunar transits are fast so you will need far more indications than this transit to finish the work. But any creative hobby could prove to be an emotionally gratifying outlet at this time.

MOON IN SIXTH

The Moon may not feel too comfortable here in the house of health and work and service to others. We may feel the need to smother our emotions in the work environment, but this should not take on the proportions of emotional repression. We all have emotions; we just need to learn to express them in an appropriate manner and this is certainly important in our work-day life.

Lunar transits are so rapid that you probably will not experience a health problem, Taurus, but this should point out to all of us the connection between body and mind. Repressed emotions can lead to health problems if we continually swallow our emotions. Deal with the issues appropriately, Taurus, and you minimize risks to your health over the long-haul.

At this time we may feel a closer bond with co-workers. If we do experience problems at work now, we should check our responses and see if there is any connection to our past that may be influencing us to respond inappropriately.

MOON IN SEVENTH
February 12, 2012

When the Moon transits the seventh house we will see relationships imbued with even more emotionalism than usual. This need not be negative, Taurus, but often is due to our own insecurities and habitual unconscious reaction patterns which, during this time, may be used against us. If faced with relationship difficulties at this time, be certain that reaction patterns are not linked to the past and clouding the present situation.

Emotional intensity will usually mark this transit, Taurus, for good or ill. Dealings with our loved ones may be on a much deeper level as long as we avoid possessiveness, but dealings with enemies will be emotionally charged as well.

Most of us have a desire for relationships with others, but we should all endeavor to find security within ourselves. This can take the pressure off our relationships as we then enter into them through desire rather than need. We will normally desire more closeness with our loved ones now, but this also gives us the opportunity to examine our motives concerning these relationships.

SUN IN TENTH

The tenth house is associated with our dominant parent, which we may have closer association with at this time. For most of us, however, this house puts the issues of our career and public image uppermost in our minds.

This may indicate a promotion in our line of work along with added responsibilities. Do not try to bluff your way through this, Taurus, or you could end up in trouble when your façade begins to crumble. Usually, your superiors look upon you favorably, but you should be honest and represent yourself accordingly. You can be helped in your endeavors by those above you willing to give you a chance if you show a willingness to cooperate and be forthright.

This transit is favorable for those looking to get ahead in life as long as the above-mentioned warnings are heeded. This also grants the energy to pursue our goals, so this is a time to go for it, Taurus!

MERCURY IN TENTH

This transit will usually bring career concerns to the forefront of your mind. This will aid communications with superiors and may help to lay the foundation for a future promotion from the groundwork you do now.

If you are self-employed, Taurus, this might be a good time to address the public image aspects of the tenth house through planning advertising campaigns to increase business.

This is also a good time to scrutinize procedures to increase efficiency, Taurus, but be careful to avoid the trap of becoming so bogged down in minutiae that you hinder productivity. This is the Virgo characteristic of Mercury's influence that could cause problems at this time. Do not get so mired in details that you miss the brass ring, Taurus.

Although we may not see the rewards now, this is an excellent time to lay the groundwork and plan for future advancement.

VENUS IN ELEVENTH

The eleventh house is considered the house of friends, professional organizations, and goals and objectives. With the transit of Venus here, any or all of these areas of our lives may benefit.

We will most likely be in the mood for socializing with friends more now, Taurus. This could be a good time to attend parties or throw one of our own. Business meetings or conferences will probably be more harmonious at this time as well. Through these associations, as well as through our friends, we may inadvertently find ways to achieve the goals and objectives we have represented in the eleventh house.

This could indicate becoming romantically involved with someone that we had only thought of as a friend before, Taurus, but now seem to see with new eyes. The same romantic potential could exist with someone we meet through a professional or social organization we belong to, or perhaps while attending a conference of some sort.

VENUS IN TWELFTH
February 8, 2012

This is one of the easier transits of the twelfth house. Transits of the twelfth house we usually experience with a degree of trepidation, as hiding here are things that tend to trip us up in our journey through life. This is not the natural case with Venus transiting here.

We may be called upon to help someone close to us now. If you should find this to be the case, Taurus, you should approach this willingly. We are usually in a giving mood now so this should not be a problem, but do keep in mind you are offering help; it is not your responsibility to solve the entire world's problems. Do what you can in the spirit of giving, but remember that this is the natural house of Pisces. You may not be a savior, Taurus, but you owe it to yourself not to become a martyr either.

Venus is connected to relationships and this could mean tending to problems in relationships now, Taurus. Also, any psychological baggage that might surface now may be a reflection of something going on in a relationship we are currently involved in. Deal with these issues, should they arise, in a gracious manner. There is a good chance your partner may be just as helpful to you in this regard.

This is a relatively easy twelfth house transit, Taurus, and we may wish to connect with humanity and be more giving now. With this transit, this could indicate a time when we may consider volunteer work or in some way helping others. Just be sure to only give what you comfortably can. There is no need to give until it hurts. To do so may actually backfire later. Artistic/creative self-expression may also be a good outlet to relieve some of the stress from difficulties we may be dealing with now.

MARS IN FIFTH
Retrograde Until April 13, 2012

This is the house of play, among other things, and this transit may see us putting a lot of energy into enjoying ourselves. This could include sports or any physical activity which gives us pleasure. Obviously, Taurus, this includes sex and most people will find an increase in their desire for intimacy now. The problem may be that Mars' expression may be rather selfish, so be sure to keep your partner's needs in mind as well.

In dealing with your children now, Taurus, remember to keep a rein on becoming too domineering should any problems arise. A far better use of this energy would be to engage in activities with your children to use this energy positively.

Where financial speculation and gambling are concerned, it may be wise to proceed with caution at this time as Mars is not known for having its wants put off. This can lead to unwise choices where money is concerned.

For those people not so inclined to physical activity, the fifth house is also the house of artistic/creative self-expression. This might be a good time to put your energy into some creative task, Taurus, that you can really put your heart into. You will have the energy to make a good start with this transit.

This is the natural house of the Sun and where we want to be allowed to be ourselves and to in some way be special. Mars' transits of the fifth house are usually not too troubling and we can allow ourselves to be ourselves, providing we are not too abrasive with others. This is the house of play and we should use this time to do so. There will be a time to concentrate on work, Taurus, when Mars enters the sixth house.

MARS RETROGRADE TRANSITS

Where Mars retrograde transits are concerned, this may indicate a time when we may need to adjust our current course in life. Whether that course is related to relationships or business, we may need to reassess what we are doing or alter it; to be sure we are headed in the direction we wish to follow.

Another indication is that things from the past that still irk us, or things we did not deal with properly, may resurface now. This affords us an opportunity to reevaluate these things and take the appropriate steps to deal with these issues now. We may have to learn an appropriate, healthy expression of anger or possibly learn to be more assertive.

When Mars is retrograde, it is not usually considered a favorable time to begin new ventures. This is a time for Mars energy to be directed inward, so that we may assess where we are going and review our strategies for getting there. When we do otherwise now, we usually run into unforeseen obstacles that tend to thwart our progress.

JUPITER IN FIRST

This is generally a good time for pursuing personal interests. We will seem more confident and generous and this magnanimous spirit quite often draws the support we need with very little effort on our part. This is the beginning of a growth cycle for us, Taurus, as well as indicating a phase when we are learning and what we learn, and the people we attract to us, can prove to be quite beneficial indeed.

We tend to make a favorable impression on others now, Taurus, and this marks a time when most people will feel rather self-confident. We should avoid selfishness now, but for most people this will not be a problem, as this transit usually indicates a time when most people feel rather generous. And when others see this inclination in us, Taurus, it tends to cause them to look upon us favorably, thereby earning their trust and support.

Barring any conflicting transits this is, for most people, a time of greater equilibrium when we can draw people and resources to ourselves with greater ease. This is because of our self-confidence and openness to others, Taurus, as well as our generosity. Although the first house is more of a personal-interest area of the chart, our willingness to be open with others and our sense of generosity often brings us the support of others that ultimately benefits us on a personal level.

Keep in mind this is one of the Jupiter transits often associated with unwanted weight gain!

SATURN IN SIXTH
Retrograde February 7, 2012

This is a time when we must really apply ourselves to our work. If we are lacking in this regard or weak in any area where our jobs are concerned, we must take adequate steps to deal with this now in preparation for Saturn’s transit into the seventh house when we will begin a time of being more in the public eye. Anything we neglect now could possibly cause problems for us later, Taurus.

This usually indicates a time when we should work diligently at any task we are responsible for. We may not receive immediate recognition for our efforts, but remember that this is a time for building strong foundations where our job is concerned. If we are diligent now, in all likelihood we will be recognized for our efforts later and rewarded accordingly. Anything we cut corners on may be just as likely to come back and haunt us.

The sixth house is also related to our health. This does not necessarily indicate we will experience any health problems now, but this is a good time to learn to take care of our bodies. This transit often indicates times when we are called upon to do hard work. Accordingly, Taurus, take care to make certain that you get adequate rest and find some time to relax. Also, diet could become an issue so be certain to give your body the proper nutrition it needs. Adequate rest, exercise and a proper diet are a good foundation for optimum health now and in the future.

SATURN RETROGRADE TRANSITS

This is a time to reexamine any structures, systems, organizations and policies inundating our lives. This may be a favorable time to revamp any of these for greater efficiency and productivity.

This is an opportune time to assess our own power and authority and to be honest with ourselves in this regard. We need to assess if we are holding ourselves back, or allowing others to do so, in some way. We need to learn how to fit in so that we may achieve our goals. We need to be objective about what we want and what others expect from us. Consequently, this may be a favorable time to reassess our relationships, both personal and business, and to determine which may need work and are salvageable, and those which we may have to let go.

URANUS IN TWELFTH

Twelfth-house transits tend to be uncomfortable for most people because of the association of this house to the subconscious/unconscious mind and what is hidden there. The twelfth house symbolizes things we may not even be aware of, Taurus, but also things that we are aware of but prefer to keep hidden just the same.

Any of these issues may spring to the surface now in a most abrupt and unpleasant manner, Taurus, due to the influence of Uranus transiting this house now. Although for most people this initially proves to be upsetting, it is an opportunity to deal with these issues and to liberate ourselves from the hold they have over us. Any twelfth-house transit, although possibly unpleasant, is an opportunity for self-examination. Failure to deal with these issues will only continue to make us easy prey for them on an ongoing basis. The disruptive influence of Uranus now is encouraging us to break free and find greater independence by finally putting these matters to rest.

This may also be a time when others may be a source of sudden upsets through the "secret enemies" connotation of the twelfth house. Should this be the case, in all likelihood we are sending unconscious signals about our vulnerability or they somehow see a chink in our armor. Although initially difficult, this situation could prove beneficial by directing our attention to where we need work. If we strengthen these points, Taurus, we become less vulnerable in the future.

This could be a time to see a therapist, as Uranus may allow new insights into our consciousness to help with any difficulties. Although unlikely, we may deal with hospitals, prisons or asylums, though this does not mean we will be inhabitants there.

NEPTUNE IN TENTH

The confusion often associated with transits of Neptune will now show up in our professional lives, careers, and how we wish to be seen in the public eye.

We may even begin to question our career path now and wonder if what we are doing is adequate to a sense of accomplishment in our lives. This is a time when some people change careers. If this should describe your case, Taurus, be careful about your decision or you could end up in another unrewarding position and feel just as unfulfilled as you were before.

This can also be a time when we run into opposition in the professional arena. This may not always be apparent, but sometimes people behind the scenes may block our efforts now. Relations with superiors may be clouded due to misunderstandings and relations with colleagues may be plagued by the same problems.

We need to truly assess our needs as they relate to our professional lives and pursue what we need in this regard if we want to be happy with ourselves professionally.

Neptune transiting here is good for any work regarding service to others or volunteer work. Do this only if you can do so in a true spirit of giving or else you will undermine your efforts. Creativity is another expression of Neptune transits, Taurus, and this could be a time to bring a bit of creativity into your professional life. This may be a beneficial use of this transit, too.

NEPTUNE IN ELEVENTH
February 3, 2012

Because the eleventh house is related to our hopes, wishes, goals and objectives and Neptune is associated with idealism, this is a time when our ideals may come to the forefront in our lives. Just remember, Taurus, that Neptune is also associated with self-deception and keep your dreams grounded in reality.

Be equally careful of new friends that come into your life now or any association with organizations. We may delude ourselves about the reality surrounding these issues now, Taurus, so we must be careful with the fog surrounding Neptune’s transits. This does not mean these people will deceive us, but we may not see the details clearly and possibly deceive ourselves. Dreams must be grounded in reality if we wish to make them real and we should be aware of a tendency now to see others as we wish to, rather than what they really are.

This may be a favorable time to align yourself with organizations that attempt to benefit the underprivileged or that do some sort of volunteer work for the masses. Neptune is also associated with creativity, Taurus, so working with others along these lines or associating with organizations that promote artistic/creative expression may be beneficial now as well.

If a stumbling block occurs now it is likely due to deception. Either others are taking advantage of you or you have deluded yourself into believing something, or someone, is other than they actually are. Be careful of self-deception now, Taurus.

PLUTO IN NINTH

During this transit we might see our perspectives on life and the world change and this will often happen on a very deep level. Pluto has little use for superficiality and its influence is accordingly powerful. Our world views, our personal philosophy, or even our religious views may undergo profound changes at this time. Now we may find our previous views are no longer sufficient to sustain us or are, in some way, no longer adequate to our present life.

Although this may be a bit troublesome initially, Taurus, this transit is not usually fraught with the problems that may sometimes represent Pluto’s transits. We are now attempting, in our own way, to find a deeper connection to the world around us and those within it and understand how this touches us on a deeper personal level. Our entire outlook on life may be changed during this transit and give us a clearer image of ourselves, the realities of life and the world, and how we relate to it.

Often, these changes in our viewpoint are likely to impress us in a powerful way. We may perhaps feel driven to share these views with others. This is fine as long as we avoid fanaticism in our quest to share our enlightenment with others. Refrain from foisting your ideas onto people that have their own personal perspective that may suit them just fine. Remember, we are all entitled to our own opinions.

Similar to Pluto’s transit through the seventh house, the ninth house is also associated with the courts. This may not be a good time to find yourself in any legal battles, Taurus. The results may not turn out in your favor.
