Whereas Saturn craves stability, Uranus fosters change, for without change there can be no growth. This could be an indication of revolution and advancement in all ninth house matters which include higher education, the law (higher courts), religion, publishing (probably electronic), and possibly diplomacy as the ninth house is also associated with foreign cultures. The ninth house is also associated with religion, philosophy, ethics, and morality and these people could see change in these areas during their lifetimes. The ninth is also the house of long-distance travel and so this placement might greatly add to the wanderlust Sagittarius feels when combined with Uranus' urge for change. Thus, these people may love to travel. As with all its placements, this could also be an indication of instability and the unexpected entering the native's lives through these avenues. CAPRICORN URANUS Here we see influences that are opposed to one another and the native will have to seek a balance between them if they wish to gain the most benefit from this placement. Capricorn, ruled by Saturn, craves stability while Uranus is a destabilizing influence desirous of revolution and change. It is quite likely that these people are born in a time when change may be taking place that influences the very foundations of their particular society. For instance, this marked a departure for the economic base of the United States from being an industrial-based society to becoming a culture that is more service oriented. These, of course, are not the only ways that foundations can be shaken. This could herald scientific and business revolutions in other areas as well. The ideal with this placement is for Capricorn's ambition to bring the revolutionary changes of Uranus into reality and through these changes to foster greater stability for humanity. Other of this planet's issues could be indicated to take on tenth house interests; and this could, and already has, heralded changes in industry, politics and science. The trick is for Capricorn to keep these changes from becoming too radical and thus destabilizing (Uranus). These people are likely to see changes in their lifetimes directly attributable to the above-mentioned influences. This, unfortunately, will undoubtedly include unemployment as workers need to be trained to do new jobs. Thus, this can have a destabilizing effect on the native's material assets (Capricorn). However, this could also indicate gains in these areas as well, providing the native is not resistant. AQUARIUS URANUS This placement of Uranus may herald a time of great advancement in the sciences and technology. This is also as indication of a time when humanity becomes more aware of social and humanitarian issues. Breakthrough inventions may arrive on the scene as well. Sometimes, however, these changes are not always as beneficial as we might at first imagine. These people might see many scientific and social changes in their lifetimes but other eleventh house issues could play a role on a more mundane level. This could include membership in scientific, astrological or occult organizations or perhaps friendships are unstable or are the cause of the native changing their attitudes in some way. All of these issues could bring change into the native's life. This placement will usually indicate a very independent nature and is a powerful position for Uranus, as this is the sign this planet rules.
